The New York Giants and Chicago Bears will face off in a game that has more NFL Draft and fantasy implications than anything else. Chicago is a 5.5-point favorite over New York, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 17 clash.
Justin Fields Fantasy
Start Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears: If Justin Fields is active in this one, he should be a rock-solid start this week. Fields has put up at least 16.9 fantasy points in each of his last four healthy starts, averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game during that span. For reference, that would make him the QB10 on the season – one spot ahead of Dak Prescott (19.0) and one below Matthew Stafford (19.9). Averaging 64.3 rushing yards per game during that span, Fields has a high floor and ceiling against New York. Just be sure to check for updates on his status, as his ankle injury could keep him out.
Saquon Barkley Fantasy
Start Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants: Things are pretty bleak for the New York Giants' offense right now. It's looking like Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon will both see some action in Week 17. That combination led to a total of 118 passing yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Saquon Barkley is probably the only Giant worth a start this week, as the Bears' run defense ranks in the bottom 10 by DVOA. Expect New York to lean on Saquon in this one.
Allen Robinson Fantasy
Sit Allen Robinson, WR, Chicago Bears: It's been a season to forget for Allen Robinson. The Bears' wideout has appeared in 10 games this season, but he's only reached 60 yards twice and has failed to record even 70 yards once. Robinson is also apparently dealing with some complications after a rough bout with COVID last week. He should be active, but he's not someone you want to start in the fantasy championships.
Kadarius Toney Fantasy
Sit Kadarius Toney, WR, New York Giants: Kadarius Toney saw 9 targets in his return to action last week. While that's pretty encouraging volume, Toney just can't be trusted this week. For one, he's dealing with a shoulder injury that could keep him on the sidelines on this weekend. Even if he does play, Glennon and Fromm are not going to be giving him the best opportunities. Chicago has typically been a pretty soft defense this year, but there's just too much working against Toney right now.
