Washington Fans Will Hate Ron Rivera's Stance on Kicker Situation

Kicker has been an unstable position for the Washington Football Team this season. Longtime team veteran Dustin Hopkins was cut earlier this year after a series of misses, but his replacement, Chris Blewitt, has had three attempts blocked in two games.
A change may be needed once again, yet head coach Ron Rivera doesn't appear to be going in that direction for now.

Rivera has no plans to try out any kickers during the team's bye in Week 9. It doesn't rule out bringing someone in down the line, but it's still disappointing to hear since the bye is the perfect time to address this pressing issue.
Blewitt's pair of misses on Sunday proved to be pivotal in the team's 10-17 loss against the Denver Broncos. He's now had three of his first five career FG attempts blocked.

There's still time for Rivera and co. to fix the team's kicking woes. Bringing in competition is a serious need to either inspire Blewitt to improve or get a new leg in.
