After a busy weekend with the 2021 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings are excited about the 11 new players making up their latest draft class. On Sunday, Minnesota released an awesome hype video for the team's newest additions playfully themed like a 1970's TV sitcom.

The Vikings addressed one of their biggest team needs in the first round after grabbing Virginia Tech offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw with the No. 23 overall selection. This was a savvy move after Vikings general manager Rick Spielman traded back nine first-round spots with the New York Jets to acquire two additional third-round selections.

With four picks in the third round, Minnesota first addressed a potential future option at quarterback with Texas A&M's Kellen Mond (No. 66). The Vikings also added North Carolina linebacker Chazz Surratt at No. 78, Ohio State guard Wyatt Davis at No. 86 and Pittsburgh defense end Patrick Jones II at No. 90.

Spielman and the Vikings front office added three more players in the fourth round with Iowa State running back and returner Kene Nwangwu (No. 119), California safety Camryn Bynum (No. 125) and Florida State defensive end Janarius Robinson (No. 134).

Iowa wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette came off the board at No. 157 while Minnesota picked up Central Missouri tackle Zach Davidson (No. 168) and Pittsburgh defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman (No. 199) in the later rounds.

The Vikings front office is clearly excited about the 11 new players added throughout the 2021 NFL Draft weekend. Minnesota successfully addressed some larger team needs while stockpiling potential talent in the later rounds.

Even after a strong draft, FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds have the Vikings ranked second in the NFC North as big +260 underdogs to win the division next season.
