Vikings Bolster QB Depth Behind Kirk Cousins With Latest Signing

The Minnesota Vikings have had a fairly quiet offseason thus far. The first day of free agency saw them lose more talent than they gained.
The Vikings did bring back one key member of the team on Tuesday, re-signing quarterback Nick Mullens. While Mullens might not be a starter, having a competent backup QB that knows your offense well and can step in at any time is a crucial part of a football team. It's the insurance policy you always need but hope to never utilize.
The Vikings are expected to re-sign QB Nick Mullens, who backed-up Kirk Cousins last season, per source.

Last season was Mullens' first year in Minnesota after spending three with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Cleveland Browns. He appeared in four games last and actually played pretty well, completing 84 percent of his passes for 224 yards combined.
Now that the Vikings' QB room is set, they can look to address other areas of their roster as they look to get back to contention again in 2023.
