There's no denying that Clemson Tigers star running back Travis Etienne is much, much more than just a small-town guy from Jennings, Louisiana, but he certainly won't be the first one to remind you of that.

That's because this incredible RB talent allows his spectacular play on the field speak louder than his words.

That's an impressive stat, and, perhaps, an even more impressive response to being asked about it.

Let's just take a moment to acknowledge how incredible that statistical accomplishment truly is. Most college football fans know a significantly better team playing a non-FBS opponent can easily see the star QB or RB rack up four or even five TDs in the early-season blowouts, but the consistency to rack up 38 separate performances is truly incredible.

Etienne could have been a fringe first-round/early second-round pick had he declared for the 2020 NFL Draft this April, but he chose to return to Clemson for his senior season alongside returning star QB Trevor Lawrence for the 2020 season.

This is the exact kind of behavior you love to see out of your star RB if you're a Clemson Tigers faithful.
