Ball-carrier vision may be one of the most important traits a truly elite running back can have. Any player can rush the ball through a huge hole, but only the special backs can find the holes that barely exist and turn them into major gains.
During his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Le'Veon Bell was one of the best at doing exactly that. And this play against the Cleveland Browns is a perfect example.
Le'Veon took this shotgun hand-off and countered left off the center before cutting the run back right all the way to the sideline and into the endzone, causing Browns defenders to look silly every step of the way.
It really highlights Bell's vision as a player. That, and the Browns' poor tackling ability during their prime losing seasons. This is definitely not a pretty one for the film study room in Cleveland.
One has to wonder if this Le'Veon Bell is still out there, and if a brand new New York Jets offensive line can help him return to stardom.
