There's a ton of excitement for NFL first-round draft picks as they kick off their rookie seasons in the league. Between realizing your dream and attempting to win over a new city, these draft picks are often welcomed with open arms from a loving fanbase.
Well, it's that much easier when a player is invited to throw out the first pitch for the city's MLB team. Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Najee Harris did just that on Saturday. Check out video from Harris warming up before his first pitch at the Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park on Saturday afternoon.
Najee Harris Steelers
Harris is already working hard at Steelers minicamp. He comes into his rookie season with pretty high expectations after two monster seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Harris ran for 2,600-plus yards over the past two seasons including 26 touchdowns in his senior campaign.
There's likely a lot of love coming from Pittsburgh nation.
