VIDEO: First Look at Kyle Pitts at Falcons Minicamp

Rookie tight end Kyle Pitts was an absolute monster during his collegiate career with the Florida Gators. With that in mind, it was no surprise that the Atlanta Falcons selected Pitts with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The selection seemed like a perfect fit especially considering the way Falcons head coach Arthur Smith utilizes tight ends in his offensive schemes. There's a ton of excitement surrounding Pitts and his rookie campaign. With that in mind, check out a first video look at Pitts from Falcons rookie camp this past week.

There may not be a ton of takeaways from this short drill, but it's easy to see how comfortable Pitts is at catching footballs. He's likely to get a lot of targets in Smith's offense next year and Falcons fans can definitely be excited about that. Pitts could be a key target for quarterback Matt Ryan, who has thrown for more than 4,000 yards in 10 of his 13 pro seasons.

Pitts enters his rookie campaign with with some lofty expectations as he owns the sixth-best odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year at +1300, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
