VIDEO: DeVonta Smith Burns Jets Defender at Joint Practice

When DeVonta Smith was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, he was coming off of a Heisman Trophy win and arguably the greatest season ever for a collegiate wide receiver.

He joined a Philadelphia wide receiver corps as the instant go-to No. 1 wideout and looks to be impressive in training camp already.

On Wednesday, Smith caught an impressive TD during a joint practice with the Jets that showed off his route running and athleticism.

This has to be super exciting for Eagles fans who haven't had a wideout this explosive since DeSean Jackson, whom Smith has been compared to before.

Smith will look to continue a connection he had with Jalen Hurts in college at the NFL level. If they can rekindle the old flame, the Eagles will have themselves a viable passing attack in 2021.
