When Andre Drummond was bought out by the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, the race to sign him among contending teams began. According to reports it came down between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics, with the productive center ultimately choosing to sign with the Lakers.

Now, for the first time, via the Lakers official Twitter account, we get a first peak at Drummond in Lakers gear as he addresses the fans of the purple and gold for the first time in a short video message.

Lakers fans will be pumped to finally see Drummond in house for and ready to contend for a championship. In what seems like an arms race with the Brooklyn Nets, destined for an NBA Finals matchup, Drummond will certainly be a valuable piece for Los Angeles in that quest, and he seems thrilled about all of it.
