Entering the offseason, many thought Tyreek Hill would be suspended for quite some time after he faced allegations of child abuse. However, the NFL recently concluded that it could not find sufficient evidence to punish Hill for these allegations, and he will now enter the season without a suspension.
Whether or not you believe the NFL made the right call here, this decision obviously has massive implications for Hill's fantasy value.
Brad Evans, of Yahoo! Sports, currently has Hill ranked as WR8. Considering Hill finished the 2018 season as WR1 in .5 PPR leagues, he certainly has a chance to climb up the rankings as the season progresses.
Hill was seemingly unguardable in his first full season of catching passes from Patrick Mahomes, tallying 1,479 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs' primary option. Even so, Hill was ranked as low as WR39 when the threat of a suspension was still looming, according to NumberFire.
It looks like Hill will once again be drafted as a top-10 WR when fantasy draft season rolls back around. Still, given his off-field history, he could be a risky player to invest in with that much draft capital.
