The 2020 season was a learning experience for rookie Tua Tagovailoa, who got a taste of being the Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback and learned from veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick. Now, Tagovailoa is set to take over as the team's QB1 in a year where the Dolphins could be contenders.

Fans will be excited to hear that Tagovailoa is putting in offseason work with his wideouts ahead of the 2021 campaign.

Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant has linked up with Tagovailoa for some early reps, noting that they're working on building chemistry ahead of next season. And the team's splashy free agent signing, Will Fuller, is also planning to put in work with the young QB, which will help make his transition to Miami seamless.

Coming off a rookie year that featured some struggles, it's great news that Tua is taking advantage of the offseason to create relationships with his wideouts. Knowing their tendencies and how they operate will be key to succeeding during games next season.

Plus, creating personal bonds will pay dividends down the line when the team goes through the inevitable challenges of an NFL season.

Big things are expected from Tagovailoa this year, and it's clear he's taking the steps to make sure he develops into the QB the Dolphins need.
