Trevor Bauer was one of the most sought after free agents this offseason, with the pitcher reportedly coming down to the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers in recent days. The reigning NL Cy Young winner has made his choice, signing with the reigning World Series champs for a three-year, $102 million deal.

As a result, the Dodgers' odds to win the 2021 World Series have jumped, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Dodgers World Series Odds 2021

After entering the new year with the best odds to win the World Series at +450, LA has risen to +350 after the Bauer signing. This shift puts additional distance between the Dodgers and the second-place New York Yankees (+550).

The signing of Bauer is a huge move for the reigning champs, strengthening their rotation as they hope to repeat in 2021. The former Cincinnati Reds star is coming off of 11 starts in 2020, earning 5 wins while tossing 2 complete games and posting an NL-best 1.73 ERA.

Bauer joins a Dodgers' rotation with Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw and David Price already in place, solidifying their contender status.

Following the Dodgers and Yankees, the San Diego Padres (+800), Chicago White Sox (+850), Atlanta Braves (+1000) and New York Mets (+1000) round of the rest of the top six in the odds to win the 2021 World Series.
