After a 22-point win in Game 1, the Golden State Warriors boast a 1-0 series lead over the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Western Conference Finals. With Game 2 set to tip off at 9 p.m. EST, the Warriors are currently 8-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

As it's always smart to hear what those in the industry have to say before placing a bet, here are some expert predictions for Game 2 of the 2019 Western Conference Finals.

Trail Blazers vs Warriors Expert Predictions

Doc's Sports

Josh Schonwald, of Doc's Sports, doesn't make a prediction for Game 2's winner straight up, but Schonwald is backing the Trail Blazers to cover an 8-point spread as road underdogs. Schonwald notes that Portland's backcourt should be able to contend within eight points of a Kevin-Durant-less Warriors team Thursday night.

FiveThirtyEight

FiveThirtyEight is backing the Warriors with a hefty advantage in Tuesday night's Game 2, giving Golden State a 77.0 percent chance of winning this matchup.

StatSalt

Drew Donald, of StatSalt, is predicting the Warriors coast to a victory in Game 2 of this series, even without Kevin Durant. Donald believes Golden State will cover an 8-point spread, noting the Blazers are just 9-23 against the spread (ATS) in their last 32 games against the Warriors.

Overall, both expert predictions to win Game 2 outright are backing the Warriors, with StatSalt predicting the Warriors to cover as 8-point favorites, but Doc's Sports going with Portland plus the points against the spread.
