While the Detroit Lions finished with a sub-.500 record for the fourth straight year, there's renewed optimism thanks to the work of head coach Dan Campbell. So much so that a top NFL Draft prospect is eyeing Detroit as a team he'd love to end up with.

Lions Draft Rumors

Standout USC wide receiver Drake London discussed his desire to reunite with former teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown at this week's NFL Combine. He discussed watching St. Brown's breakout rookie campaign, in which he set the Lions franchise records for rookie receiving yards (912) receptions (90), calling the performance encouraging.

Lions Rumors

A two-sport athlete at USC, London played basketball for the Trojans and is adept at using his size plus athleticism to haul in contested balls. He was named a third-team All-American after posting 88 receptions for 1,084 yards and 7 touchdowns in eight games his junior year.

Detroit enters the NFL Draft with 10 picks overall, including a pair of first-round selections at No. 2 and No. 32. It's expected the Lions will aim for a defensive selection with the second overall pick, but there's a chance London's name could be called at the end of the first round.

It's refreshing to see a top collegiate prospect speak so highly of joining a team that's won just 11 games in the last three years, and clearly a testament to the work of Campbell and his staff.
