The Super Bowl LV win by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has put the NFL on notice following their beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs. It's also already paying off, as some big free agents are expected to be interested in heading to Tampa in the offseason to compete for a championship in 2022.
One of those free agents is already lobbying the Buccaneers for a chance, as former MVP Adrian Peterson has stated his desire to join the team.
Peterson is certainly taking interest in the Bucs following their Super Bowl win. The All-Pro running back wants to win a ring before his career is over, and he has a personal relationship with Brady that would make a move to Tampa "enticing."
"If they want me to be a part of it, I'll be a part of it for sure. Because I'm definitely trying to add a trophy to my resume."- Adrian Peterson
Now as the reigning champs, the Bucs will surely have free agents looking to get in on the action. Brady's remarkable skill as a proven winner is clearly something players want to be a part of.
Tampa took a flier on Leonard Fournette when he was released early in the season, and signing the 35-year-old Peterson could be another similar move that pays off down the line. The veteran is still a contributor at his age, and he'd provide depth behind Ronald Jones.
