Tom Brady Has Huge Advantage Over Drew Brees in Divisional Game

Two NFL legends will square off on Sunday as Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round. These championship-winning quarterbacks will be at the center of deciding who wins this game.
That being said, Brady has one huge advantage over Brees heading into their clash.
Tom Brady has completed nearly twice as many deep passes (35) as Drew Brees has attempted (19) this season. Since Week 12, Brady is leading the NFL in completions (17), pass yards (594), and pass TD (7) on deep passes.

After seeming to struggle with the deep ball earlier this season, Brady is leading the league in completions, passing yards and passing TDs on deep throws since Week 12. The veteran has attempted 35 of those kinds of throws this season, compared to just 19 for Brees, which speaks to the Saints QB's adjusted play style this year.
Brees has played in four fewer games than Brady, but it's not likely that he would've sniffed Brady's deep throw number, given his obvious decline in that area.
It's good news for Buccaneers fans that Brady is turning it on when it comes to deep throws in the later part of the season. The Saints are one of the league's best defenses, so having any kind of advantage will be huge if they hope to pull off the road upset.
New Orleans enters this Divisional Round matchup as 2.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportbook's NFL betting odds.
