Four-Time Pro Bowl Weapon Shows Interest in Joining Titans on Twitter
The free agency market is heating up, with many players already finding new homes. The offensive skill position free agent market has overall moved a bit more slowly, though signings are expected to pick up quickly.
Some players are taking it upon themselves to reach out to teams, as been the case with a four-time Pro Bowl weapon with the Tennessee Titans.
Cordarrelle Patterson has an active Twitter account, whether it be cracking jokes or trying to recruit players to his own team. He had even posted pictures of him and Russell Wilson in hopes ofbringing him to Chicago. However, with the Bears appearing to move on from Patterson, he took it upon himself to reach out to the Titans.
Strangely, Patterson has become more of a versatile weapon throughout his eight-year NFL career. He continues to excel in the return game, returning a kick 104 yards to the house last season. However, he has gone from a gimmick or decoy on offense to being a contributor out of the backfield, thanks to his one season in New England.
After the Patriots gave Patterson 228 carries in his lone season in Foxboro, he has totaled 335 over the past two seasons. Patterson would be an interesting addition to the Titans offense, which already features Derrick Henry.
