This Buccaneers Player's Comments About Devin White & Lavonte David Will Get Fans Hyped the Season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have a lot to be excited about ahead of the 2020 NFL season.

The team added Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to an offense that averaged the league's fourth-most points per game (PPG) last season. The defense, meanwhile, received the fifth-highest DVOA rating in the league, per Football Outsiders.

Much of that success is due to Lavonte David and Devin White in the middle. Clearly, Buccaneers' defenders aren't lacking confidence about what this duo will be able to do in their second year together, either.

Carlton Davis, a third-year Bucs cornerback, believes David and White can be the best LB corps in the NFL.

David, who received an 89.2 overall grade from Pro Football Focus in 2019, already belongs in that elite group. White isn't there yet, having received a 50.6 PFF grade as a rookie in 2019. But the former No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft absolutely has the physical skillset to get to David's level one day.

White and David might not quite hold that title yet, but it seems like the sky is the limit for these two.
