TCU may have won the 2017 NIT Tournament, but that doesn't mean the Horned Frogs have what it takes to repeat as champions in this year's bracket. The Horned Frogs take on the Texas Longhorns in the 2019 NIT Semifinals on Tuesday night for a shot at advancing to another title game.

The Horned Frogs are the last remaining No. 1 seed in the NIT, and they're being treated as such as 1.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Here's what the experts are saying prior to Tuesday night's game.

Texas vs TCU Predictions

Sports Day DFW

The Longhorns are the bigger team, but they've struggled against the Horned Frogs lately. TCU won both of its matchups with Texas this season, and according to Sports Day DFW, the Horned Frogs should complete the three-game sweep with a cover in this one.

Picks and Parlays

Picks and Parlays has faith in the top seed in this matchup. TCU has won five of its last six games, and the Horned Frogs have covered the spread in five of their last games against the Longhorns. Picks and Parlays is giving TCU the nod, 74-67.

ESPN Basketball Power Index Matchup Predictor

ESPN's BPI is going with the Longhorns in an upset here, giving Texas a 57.6 percent chance of winning this one.

Overall, two of the three expert predictions we highlighted are going with TCU to win straight up, and both expert spread picks are backing the Horned Frogs as the favorites.
