Tee Higgins was one of the most productive wide receivers available in the 2020 NFL Draft. He put up 2,103 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns on 118 catches over his final two collegiate seasons. Despite that production, though, the big-bodied wideout fell to the second round in the draft.

That made him an afterthought in fantasy circles, as did his eventual landing spot with the Cincinnati Bengals, as he opened the year as the team's fourth-string wideout. It only took Higgins two weeks to earn a significant role in the offense, however, and he's suddenly become an extremely interesting waiver wire target.

Tee Higgins Fantasy Outlook

Higgins barely saw the field in Week 1, playing just 22% of the team's snaps. He was not targeted. He earned a better role in Week 2, turning 6 targets into 35 yards, but being the fourth option in a far-from elite passing game isn't exactly a recipe for fantasy success.

Things really turned around when John Ross was inactive due to a coach's decision in Week 3, as that essentially meant Higgins had passed him in the team's pecking order. He has been great since then, turning 8.0 targets per game into 58.5 yards while adding 2 touchdowns through the air.

Notably, he has played at least 57 percent of the team's snaps in each of the last three games. He's also out-targeted AJ Green (16 to 11) over the last two weeks, which is good for the second-most targets on the team during that stretch.

Clearly a part of the Bengals' passing attack moving forward, Higgins has big-time upside the rest of the way. Burrow is already second in the NFL in passing attempts (177) so he could be looking at a ton of volume going forward.

Currently rostered in just 33 percent of Yahoo! leagues, WR-needy fantasy managers should rush to the waiver wire to pick up Higgins this week.
