The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFL Playoffs at Raymond James Stadium. These teams will luckily avoid the freezing temps that other postseason contenders must face, but there's a chance for the weather to still play a factor in this NFC clash.

Tampa Weather Sunday

As of Thursday, The Weather Channel is forecasting a high of 69 degrees on Sunday, along with an 80% chance of rain, morning thunderstorms, and winds up to 22 mph.

Eagles vs Buccaneers Weather

There is serious storm potential for the Tampa area on Sunday that may pose some problems. These teams will kick off at 1 p.m. ET, so there's a chance that the rain is still around at that time.

Even if things clear up, a slippery field would be an issue for everyone on both sides of the ball. That's not even to mention wind gusts that could affect the passing and kicking games.

Hopefully the weather cooperates and lets these two squads battle without any complications. Any less than ideal conditions could favor Philadelphia, given they face much worse winter weather and are the more run-heavy team.

The Buccaneers are 8.5 point favorites ahead of Sunday's game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
