The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV with a 31-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. After the game, bettors finally got the long-awaited answer to one of the most popular Super Bowl prop bets in the country.

What Color Was the Super Bowl Gatorade Shower?

After Kansas City secured the Lombardi Trophy, the players snuck up behind Andy Reid and doused him with orange Gatorade. The odds for orange were listed at +450 prior to kickoff, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Notably, orange had the fourth-best odds ahead of the game.

Recent trends before the game suggested that orange had a good chance, having hit four times in the last 10 Super Bowls — more often than any other color. Bettors who took note of this trend were rewarded handsomely.
