Sekou Doumbouya Stats
Sekou Doumbouya offers tantalizing athleticism and upside, though he hasn't seen much playing time. Doumbouya averaged only 16.0 minutes per game for the French professional team, Limoges CSP, in the 2018-19 season, with 6.4 points per game (PPG), 2.9 rebounds per game (RPG) and 0.6 steals per game (SPG).
While those aren't exactly eye-popping numbers, Doumbouya won't turn 19 years old until the December of 2019, and he offers unique positional versatility. Doumbouya is athletic enough to defend both guards and forwards, but he's more of a raw athlete than a polished NBA prospect at this point.
Still, if he improves his ball handling and shooting, Doumbouya could be a great fit in the modern NBA that values positional flexibility and versatility on the defensive end.

Sekou Doumbouya NBA Draft Predictions
Boston Celtics (No. 14), Brooklyn Nets (No. 17)
The Boston Celtics roster is loaded with a bunch of talented young players, but they don't really have a bonafide star, especially if Kyrie Irving walks this summer. Drafting a talent like Doumbouya could make a lot of sense here, as Boston doesn't need him to contribute right away, giving him ample time to develop. If he reaches his potential, Doumbouya would likely be a nice fit in Brad Stevens' defensive system that values defenders who can switch onto both forwards and guards.
The Brooklyn Nets are finally in control of their own first-round pick once again, and Doumbouya is the kind of high-upside gamble that Nets' general manager Sean Marks could take. Doumbouya's defensive prowess could make him a great fit next to Caris LeVert and D'Angelo Russell in Brooklyn, both of whom are primarily offensive players.
