Unlike the rest of the NFL world, Seattle Seahawks fans won't have much going on this weekend. The organization only has three picks this weekend, including just one (No. 56) in the first three rounds.

But fans do have some news to celebrate, as the team could be reuniting with a 10-year veteran in linebacker K.J. Wright. Check out what general manager John Schneider had to say about a potential reunion with the free-agent LB.

Quite frankly, there’s so many coaches that were on our staff that are at different places we thought he would be signed by now... We have the utmost amount of respect for him. He’s done a ton for this organization. Great person, great leader.

A return makes a ton of sense. Wright was his usual, rock-solid self, earning a 75.3 grade from ProFootballFocus. And while Seattle did theoretically draft his replacement in Jordyn Brooks last year, the rookie didn't look ready to be an every-down contributor.

Brooks was a decent run defender, but earned an atrocious 29.8 grade in coverage from PFF.

Bringing Wright back on a one-year deal would be a savvy move. This would allow Seattle to bring Brooks along slowly while beefing up a front seven that has added a ton of talent this offseason.
