New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has missed each of the team's last four games while dealing with an MCL sprain in his knee. The Saints have taken every precaution with their star, making sure he's 100% before letting him suit up.

The latest on Kamara, though, is amazing news.

Alvin Kamara News

Kamara is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, per The Times-Picayune's Jeff Duncan. And even better, the RB should be ready to play in Week 14 against the New York Jets if everything goes as planned.

The Saints lost all four games with Kamara out, and they've dropped five straight overall. They've managed to score more than 25 points once in this period, so getting the dual-threat back on the field would give this struggling unit a major boost.

Kamara totaled 840 yards from scrimmage and 7 TDs over the first eight games of the year. He could make an immediate impact if he suits up on Sunday against a Jets defense allowing the most total yards per game.

New Orleans is a 5-point favorite over New York in Week 14, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
