Russell Wilson Has Great Pitch for Antonio Brown to Join Seahawks

Antonio Brown's eight-game ban is nearly up. The star wide receiver is eligible to return for Week 9 in the NFL, With this being right around the corner, interest for Brown is picking up. The team most vocal in pursuing Brown publicly has been the Seattle Seahawks.

Recently, the favorite to win the NFL MVP, Russell Wilson, came out and made a terrific pitch as to why Brown should join the Seahawks.

Wilson's pitch to Brown for joining Seattle is that it is a great place to grow as a person. While this may not be the best pitch to Brown directly, it is a strong pitch to his team behind him, and it would be a solid PR move for him to join a team that is selling Brown on the idea of becoming a better man and person.

Sitting with a 5-0 record this season, it would be a case of the rich getting richer, with Brown joining a wide receiver corps featuring DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. A stronger pitch may be that his addition gives the Seahawks arguably the strongest receiving corps in the league. Along with the pass-catching talent, Wilson is completing over 72 percent of his passes, tossing 19 touchdowns through five games.
