Ray Allen Shares Hilarious Story That Has LeBron James Still Calling Him
While the NBA's greatest-of-all-time debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan will likely rage on far beyond James' playing days, much of it boils down to a ring count.
Jordan, of course, leads this area with six, and LeBron has gotten up to four now, however, he has a lot of thanks to give to former Miami Heat teammate Ray Allen for helping him get the second of his career back in 2013.
In fact, he still calls to thank him to this day.
That's because with the Heat trailing 3-2 in the NBA Finals Series and down 95-92 in Game 6 against the San Antonio Spurs, Allen hit the game-tying 3-pointer after James missed his own attempt in the final seconds of the game that would allow the Heat to force a Game 7 and ultimately win an NBA title.

You have to love hearing that even one of the greatest talents ever to play the game still picks up the phone to thank those that helped him build the résumé who helps him to be such, even years later.
