The Baltimore Ravens hit quarterback Lamar Jackson with the non-exclusive franchise tag on Tuesday. This gives the former MVP the opportunity to go out and sign an offer with another team, and then the Ravens can choose to match it or not.

Regardless of who is at QB for Baltimore next season, they need to make big improvements to their receiving corps. They attempted to address it when they drafted Rashod Bateman, but injuries have limited him at the start of his career.

Ravens Mock Draft 2023

ESPN's draft expert Todd McShay released his first post-combine Mock Draft, and he predicts the Ravens will address the wideout spot again this year with the selection of intriguing Ohio State product Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

JSN struggled through injuries in 2022, but his 2021 season was out of this world. in 2021, he had 95 catches, 1,606 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. He would have probably been a top-10 pick if he was allowed to come out after last season.

He also impressed at the NFL Combine last week, which has him sliding up some draft boards -- a trend that could continue over the next six weeks.
