The Baltimore Ravens entered the 2022 season thin enough at wide receiver after they dealt Hollywood Brown to the Arizona Cardinals. Then Rashod Bateman began dealing with injuries, leaving them in an even worse position.

On Tuesday, the team signed a veteran wideout in an effort to recoup some of that lost depth at the position. The Ravens added Michael Thomas. No, not that Michael Thomas, unfortunately,

This Michael Thomas was recently released by Cincinnati and now the Ravens are adding him to their practice squad.

Thomas had been a non-factor this season in Cincinnati, recording just two catches for 38 yards. He last played in Week 11 for Cincy, but that is one of the deepest and most talented receiver groups in the NFL.

Going to Baltimore presents Thomas with the opportunity to actually break into the rotation and see some targets if he's able to be elevated off the practice squad.

The Ravens go up against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16, where they are a 7.5-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
