The Baltimore Ravens received an encouraging injury update on Wednesday as one of their star playmakers returned to practice.

Wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who's been dealing with a sprained left foot, was back at practice for the Ravens on Wednesday.

Rashod Bateman Injury Update

Bateman's return is a welcome development for Baltimore, as he hasn't played since suffering the injury during Week 4. The 22-year-old wide receiver was the team's No. 1 wideout before going down, hauling in 11 catches on 22 targets for 243 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

Bateman logging a practice on Wednesday bodes well for his chances of suiting up on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. That would give the Ravens' offense a massive boost, as their passing game hasn't been the same without him and Lamar Jackson would surely appreciate getting one of his favorite weapons back. It would also take some of the pressure off tight end Mark Andrews, who has had to do the heavy lifting in his absence and missed practice on Wednesday.

Baltimore sits at .500 after splitting the last two games without Bateman, but his return would increase the Ravens' chances of winning on Sunday. They're currently listed as 6.5-point home favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
