Raiders Rumors Link Team to Pro Bowl Cornerback

The New York Giants were in the news on Monday after The Athletic's Dan Duggan reported that the team was releasing cornerback James Bradberry after being unable to find a trade partner. Several teams are expected to pursue the former Pro-Bowler, with NFL insider Vincent Bonsignore reporting the Las Vegas Raiders as a potential suitor.

Las Vegas Raiders Rumors
Each of the Raiders' AFC West rivals possesses the makings of an elite passing game, so it only makes sense that they'd want to strengthen their secondary with someone of Bradberry's talent.
The 28-year-old played in each of the Giants' 17 games (16 starts) last season, finishing with 47 total tackles, 17 broken-up passes, and a career-high four interceptions.
One reason why the Raiders might be an attractive destination for Bradberry is because of defensive coordinator Patrick Graham. The 43-year-old held the titles of DC and assistant coach over the last two seasons with the Giants, which includes the cornerback's Pro-Bowl campaign.
This isn't the first rumor of the Raiders' interest in Bradberry over the last week or so. While nothing is guaranteed, there's usually fire where there's smoke. Now that he's set to become a free agent, expect that interest to ramp up.
FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Raiders at +4000 odds (T-No. 17) to win Super Bowl LVII. Adding Bradberry could provide those odds with a decent-sized boost.
