In a season where the team exceeded initial expectations, the Oakland Raiders are barely clinging on to a chance to make the playoffs, following a blowout Week 13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

If the season ended today, the Raiders would rank eighth in the AFC, missing out on the postseason. However, at just one game behind the 7-5 Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans, Oakland is not out of it quite yet, and FanDuel Sportsbook has the Raiders listed at +580 to make the playoffs.

The Raiders are essentially in a must-win week, facing the Titans at home. A win on Sunday would allow Oakland to leapfrog Tennessee, and the Raiders final three games are all against teams currently sporting 4-8 records.

As of now, Football Outsiders considers the Raiders a longshot to make the postseason, giving them only a 10.7 percent chance at a playoff berth. Compared to the teams they are fighting with to win the final Wild Card spot, the Steelers (40.4 percent), Titans (52.3 percent) and Indianapolis Colts (11.1 percent) have all been given better odds than Oakland.

If the stars align and the Raiders are able to claim the final playoff spot in the AFC, they are not expected to make much noise in the postseason, as Oakland is listed at +25000 to win the Super Bowl.
