Week 9 brought a bittersweet breakout for Preston Williams. He exploded for 72 yards and two touchdowns, turning in his best game of the season as the Miami Dolphins upset the New York Jets, but he was carted off with a knee injury in the fourth quarter, and that injury will cost him the rest of the 2019 season.

That's a big blow for the promising rookie, but it does spell big things for DeVante Parker's fantasy outlook moving forward.

The Dolphins' offense has been terrible this season, but playing from behind means they're doing plenty of passing, opening up some room for fantasy value in their receiving room.

Williams had been the top option in that passing game, leading the team with a 21 percent share of the targets as well as a 30 percent share of their air yards. Parker is right behind him, with shares of 18 and 29 percent, respectively. That has already translated to an average of 7.6 targets per game in the five contests started by Ryan Fitzpatrick, and we can expect Parker's volume to increase further with his top competition out of the way.

Parker will still be a low-floor WR3 option in one of the league's most inefficient offenses, but as a safe bet to see eight-plus targets per game he's hard to ignore in fantasy football (particularly in PPR leagues). That makes him a top waiver wire add ahead of Week 10 and slots him in at WR29 in our Week 10 fantasy football PPR rankings ahead of this week's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
