[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 3-4 in parlay bets with a -$4.63 payout differential. This month, we're +$9.94].

Game 1: Orlando Magic vs. Detroit Pistons (-166), 7 p.m. EST

The Detroit Pistons have been on a tear recently, and they should be able to handle the Orlando Magic at home. Detroit is 15-8 straight up in its last 23 games, and it's facing an Orlando offense that only shoots 45.0 percent from the field (22nd in the NBA). Meanwhile, the Pistons force opponents to play at a remarkably slow pace, surrendering just 84.7 field goal attempts per game (2nd in the NBA). If the Magic can't improve their efficiency, they could have a tough time scoring against the Pistons.

Game 2: Denver Nuggets vs. Houston Rockets (-230), 8 p.m. EST

The Houston Rockets are one of the most dangerous offenses in the league, and they should be able to exploit Denver Nuggets' center Nikola Jokic on defense. Jokic's lack of athleticism could come back to haunt the Nuggets here, as he'll have to contend with Clint Capela, who is averaging 27.5 points against Denver this season. The Rockets are also 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against Denver.
