A lot of people often say that preseason games hold little value. While that might be true in some cases, the Baltimore Ravens are in the midst of some preseason history. The Ravens have won their last 18 exhibition games in a row and will look to make it 19 against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday. However, it seems as if it's the Panthers that have some extra motivation heading into the tilt.

On Friday, Panthers safety Jeremy Chinn appeared on Good Morning Football. When asked about Baltimore's 18 straight preseason wins, the 23-year-old sophomore said that Carolina must "go into something like that & try to be a party pooper."

While Chinn's statement should add some extra excitement to the upcoming Ravens-Panthers preseason contest, the game already had the potential to be an explosive affair. Players from both teams were involved in a fight during a joint practice earlier this week. While the situation stayed relatively contained, that doesn't mean that tempers won't flare on Saturday.

The Panthers will enter the Week 2 preseason clash as the +165 underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. These odds make sense considering how they're coming off of a 5-11 record in 2020, whereas the Ravens were an impressive 11-5 last year. Nevertheless, Baltimore's odds of beating Carolina sit at a favorable -195.

Only time will tell if Chinn's attempts to motivate his teammates will pay off.
