After trading superstar wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Green Bay Packers now have 11 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, including four in the first two rounds. That amount of draft capital makes Green Bay one of the most interesting teams to watch in this year's draft.

CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson published his latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft on Monday and if things go the way he projects, Packers fans would be absolutely thrilled.

Packers Mock Draft

Wilson has the Packers addressing multiple needs with the following four picks in his 2022 NFL Mock Draft:

  • Round 1, Pick No. 22: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
  • Round 1, Pick No. 28: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
  • Round 2, Pick No. 53: George Pickens, WR, Georgia
  • Round 2, Pick No. 59: Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State

The Packers get some much-needed help at the wide receiver position with Ohio State's Chris Olave (No. 22) and Georgia's George Pickens (No. 53). Olave recorded career-highs in receptions (65), receiving yards (936) and touchdowns (13) in 11 games with the Buckeyes last season and certainly has the potential to be a No. 1 WR.

Pickens missed the entire 2021 college football season due to a torn ACL. Nevertheless, his 90-1,347-14 stat line in 24 games over three seasons at Georgia shows that he can be a solid NFL player down the line.

The Packers also get some defensive help by drafting Dean, one of the best linebackers in this class, at No.28. The 21-year-old finished with 72 total tackles, 6.0 sacks, five defended passes and two forced fumbles last year as he received the Butkus Award as the NCAA's top linebacker.

Not to be overlooked, Wilson has Green Bay taking Colorado State's McBride at No. 59. Although the Packers brought back TE Robert Tonyan, McBride's offensive upside is too tough to ignore after he recorded 1,121 receiving yards and a touchdown on 90 interceptions last Fall.

Fans won't have to wait long to see if the Packers turn these predictions into a reality. The 2022 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 28 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
