Packers Fans Aren't Going to Like Peter King's Power Rankings
By Max Staley

The Green Bay Packers are coming off a tremendous 2019 campaign that saw them finish 13-3 before losing in the NFC Championship Game. Though a confounding offseason has hurt their 2020 outlook around the league, Packers fans are still generally optimistic about the team going forward.
However, the team's spot in Peter King's latest power rankings could put a bit of a damper on fan's hopes.
Some power-ranking surprises (Bucs 5th? Raiders 8th?!) take a back seat in my latest column.

King has Green Bay as the No. 12-ranked team in the NFL. That's one spot behind their division-rival Minnesota Vikings. Packers fans surely won't enjoy being ranked behind the Vikings, who they beat twice last season by an average margin of 9.0 points per game (PPG).
The Chicago Bears (No. 17) aren't too far behind either, but at least Green Bay is comfortably ahead of the Detroit Lions (No. 26).
Feel like Packers fans would jump at getting one of these ?https://t.co/xdNNYLERju

King's assertion that the Packers might not be the juggernaut they were last year is backed up by the oddsmakers. FanDuel Sportsbook gives Green Bay +2500 odds to win the Super Bowl, tying the franchise with Minnesota for the 12th-best odds in the league. Both teams are also listed at +175 to win the NFC North, edging out the Bears (+320) and Lions (+650).
After a controversial offseason, Packers fans surely can't love their teams spot in King's latest power rankings.
