The Denver Nuggets have acquired Aaron Gordon in a trade with the Orlando Magic. Denver will send Gary Harris, R.J. Hampton and a first-round pick to complete the deal. Gary Clark will also accompany Gordon from the Magic in the trade.

Gordon is clearly the centerpiece in the deal as he'll bring his 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game over to the Mile High City. In 2018, Gordon signed a four-year deal with Orlando worth $80 million. He'll be under contract with Denver for one more year following this season.

The Nuggets have been busy at the deadline. Earlier, they acquired JaVale McGee from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With a 26-18 record, Denver is second in the Northwest Division, but the Nuggets are ranked fifth in the Western Conference. They'll hope to improve on last season's performance that saw them reach the Western Conference Finals.
