NL Cy Young Odds: Jacob deGrom Favored Over Corbin Burnes & Brandon Woodruff on FanDuel Sportsbook

New York Mets star Jacob deGrom continues to dominate hitters, and the ace has increased his odds as the favorite to win the NL Cy Young. While the Milwaukee Brewers have a pair of strong starters challenging in the Cy Young race with Corbin Burnes (+500) and Brandon Woodruff (+750), it's deGrom (-165) who is the clear favorite as the MLB season approaches 60 games for many teams.

According to National League Cy Young odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, those three are the only pitchers with odds below +2000. Since the start of the season, both Max Scherzer of the Nationals and Trevor Bauer of the Dodgers have fallen off, and now both have NL Cy Young odds of +2200.

Jacob deGrom's performances and stats are record-setting. Following a 4-0 win over the Padres on June 5, deGrom is now 5-2 with 93 strikeouts in 58 innings with an 0.62 ERA and 0.57 WHIP. The Mets dominator has allowed just 25 hits and 8 walks.

Kevin Gausman (1.27), Brandon Woodruff (1.42) and Corbin Burnes (1.97) have the next-best ERAs.

For reference, deGrom has not allowed more than one earned run during any of his nine starts this season. His 0.62 ERA is the lowest in MLB history for a pitcher through nine starts. Bob Gibson's hallowed 1.12 ERA in 1968 is the lowest ever in the live-ball era since 1920.
