NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds Favor Trevor Lawrence as Week 1 Kicks Off at FanDuel Sportsbook
The football world is buzzing as Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season is officially kicking off. A decent portion of this excitement is due to the talented crop of offensive rookies that are making their NFL debut this year.
Only one of these talented up-and-comers will be named 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year, though. As Sunday's contests loom, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is favored to win the award at +400 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. It shouldn't be that surprising after the 21-year-old gunslinger was selected first overall at the 2021 NFL Draft and just threw for over 3,100 passing yards and 24 touchdowns in his last season with Clemson.
New England Patriots QB Mac Jones sits second in the odds department at a close +450. The former University of Alabama product has a lot of expectations resting on his shoulders after he beat out former NFL MVP Cam Newton for the Patriots' No. 1 quarterback job.
Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields is a slightly distant third at +650 odds. Although, Fields still needs to convince the Bears coaching staff that he deserves to start under center over veteran signal-caller Andy Dalton.
Here's a look at how the rest of the OROY odds are shaping up as Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season kicks off.
