Quarterbacks
Jimmy Garoppolo (71 last week) 76
The 30-year-old 49ers quarterback has managed his thumb injury well so far, but now has a right shoulder sprain to deal with. His score increase is mainly because the thumb injury is one week better and the shoulder injury can be managed with a numbing or anti-inflammatory injection. Rookie Trey Lance will certainly get reps in practice this week, but Garoppolo will be the starter against the Packers.
Matthew Stafford (86 last week) 88
Stafford suffered a mild turf toe injury late in the Week 18 loss to the 49ers and had limited mobility against the Cardinals. He will be a week better and should have more mobility against the Buccaneers.
Running Backs
Leonard Fournette 63
The Tampa Bay starting running back was not available for the Wild Card win over the Eagles because of a significant hamstring injury he suffered in Week 15. He has a better chance to play this week but will likely have limited burst and cutting ability.
Sony Michel 88 / Cam Akers 74 / Darrell Henderson Jr. 33
Cam Akers was impressive in the win over the Cardinals, finishing with 17 carries for 55 yards and one catch for 40 yards. He’s still a long way from having the same burst he had last season, but his progress has been impressive. Michel is healthy and will likely split touches with Akers against the Buccaneers. Henderson could be activated off IR this week, but he will still likely be limited by the right knee MCL sprain he suffered Week 16.
Wide Receivers
Mike Evans (88 last week) 91
The veteran Buccaneers receiver seems to be past his Week 15 hamstring injury, which is good news for a Tampa team down three other wideouts. He had 9 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Eagles.
Odell Beckham Jr. 90
The 29-year-old caught his first playoff touchdown and got his first career postseason win against the Cardinals. His surgically repaired left knee has looked better and better as the year has progressed. Expect him to be heavily involved against the Buccaneers.
