NBA MVP Odds: Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant Remain on Top on FanDuel Sportsbook

The league-leading Golden State Warriors (13-2) have the early-season MVP favorite with Stephen Curry going crazy in the opening month of the season. But his former teammate and NBA championship favorite Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is a top MVP challenger, according to recent MVP odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Currey (29.5) leads the league in scoring with Durant (28.6) and last season's NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (28.0) also topping the scoring charts. Giannis is a two-time regular season MVP and he's having another strong season averaging 28 points, 11.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists. But the defending champion Bucks are off to just a 7-8 start this season.

Curry is taking by far the most 3-pointers per game (13.5) while making a laser-like 41.9% from long range. In this week's head-to-head match-up, the Warriors went into Brooklyn and buried the Nets 117-99 behind Curry's game-high 37 points while making 9-of-14 threes.

The reigning regular season MVP Nikola Jokic is having another strong season for the Denver Nuggets. The star center has a 36.76 Player Efficiency Rating (PER), which would shatter the previous single-season mark set Giannis two seasons ago.
