NBA DFS 2/14/2022
Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Monday, 2/14, NBA DFS action.
FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 2/14
Nikola Jokic Fantasy
Target Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets ($11,300): Nikola Jokic has just one game with 60-plus FanDuel fantasy points over his last five contests, but Monday provides a huge opportunity for the big man. The Orlando Magic allow the 11th-most points per game and sixth-most rebounds to opponents, setting Jokic up to feast. Making things even better: Orlando pushes the ball with the 10th-fastest pace in the league, meaning Jokic should have even more chances on the boards tonight.
Kyle Kuzma Fantasy
Target Kyle Kuzma, SF/PF, Washington Wizards ($7,700): Kyle Kuzma continues to be a featured option for the Washington Wizards with Bradley Beal out. Kuzma has bumped up his PPG (17.8) and APG (4.2) while providing solid rebounding (7.8 RPG) over the last six contests, all which have been without Beal, who's now sidelined for the season. Kuzma's playmaking has hit another level recently, recording a combined 17 assists over his last two outings. Now he faces a Detroit Pistons team that ranks top six in PPG, RPG and APG allowed. Kuzma could be in a for a huge night in a vulnerable matchup.
Terance Mann Fantasy
Target Terance Mann, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers ($5,600): Terance Mann appears to be picking it up at the perfect time. Following some inconsistent play time this season, he's seen at least 25 minutes in each of the last four games. He's delivered with 13.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 4.3 APG and 1.8 SPG during stretch. Mann even drew a rare start in his last time out with Norman Powell sidelined, and he responded with a season-high 21 points to go along with nine rebounds. Powell is now out indefinitely, clearing the way for Mann to enjoy heightened usage for an injury-riddle squad.
Brandon Ingram Fantasy
Avoid Brandon Ingram, SF, New Orleans Pelicans ($8,100): It's early, but Brandon Ingram has seen a big dip in his production following his team's trade for CJ McCollum. In two games with McCollum so far, Ingram is averaging 18.5 PPG, 2.5 RPG and 1.5 APG while taking 15.5 field goal attempts per contest. Compre that to the 22.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG and 5.5 APG with 18.5 FGA he averaged before the trade, and the difference is evident. It's a big change for Ingram to have another primary scoring option, so allow him time to adjust before trusting in him for a big outing.
Rudy Gobert Fantasy
Avoid Rudy Gobert, C, Utah Jazz ($9,000): Rudy Gobert is officially questionable for Monday's game against the Houston Rockets after practicing on Sunday. That's a huge step in the right direction for the injured big man, but it doesn't mean he needs to be in your lineups. Gobert has missed the last nine contests while tending to a calf strain, and he could face a minutes restriction if he does return tonight. Hassan Whiteside and Udoka Azubuike have also filled in nicely for him, so it's a risk to bet on Utah running Gobert out before All-Star Weekend.
