The NBA Defensive Player of the Odds continue to favor Rudy Gobert (-550) at FanDuel Sportsbook as the regular season comes to a close. The Utah Jazz's dominant center remains a favorite over Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons (+400).

Giannis Antetokounmpo (+6500) and Joel Embiid (+6500) round out the remaining players odds with just six games remaining.

NBA DPOY Odds

This would be Gobert's third Defensive Player of the Year award after winning in 2018 and 2019. He's currently No. 2 in the Association with 13.4 rebounds per game.

Gobert impacts the game in so many ways, especially in transition defense. His size and strength allow him to be one of the best at protecting the rim. That's evident in his 2.8 blocks per game, which is the second-highest mark in the league. Gobert's defensive presence is a huge part of the Jazz maintaining the league's best record throughout the season.

The versatile 6-foot 10 Simmons is having a strong season averaging 14.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game. His defense has played a part in heping the 76ers to the top record in the Eastern Conference ahead of the Finals-hopeful Brooklyn Nets.
