The Cleveland Browns had one of their best campaigns in a long time in the 2020 NFL season. While they may have lost in the Divisional Playoffs to the Kansas City Chiefs, it was the furthest the Browns have gone in the postseason since 1994. One of the biggest contributors to Cleveland's success last year was none other than defensive end Myles Garrett.

However, despite how dominant Garrett was last season, he's on the receiving end of some disrespect, courtesy of Pro Football Focus' edge rusher power rankings. The two-time Pro-Bowler was given the No. 4 spot, which might be adequate to some, but not for a player of his caliber.

Myles Garrett News

Garrett was an absolute monster on defense in 2020, recording 48 total tackles (10 for a loss), 12.0 sacks, 18 quarterback hits and 4 force fumbles. It's absurd to think that PFF looked at these numbers and thought that he didn't deserve a higher spot.

And it's not like Garrett is new to dominating opposing NFL offenses. The two-time All-Pro edge rusher has 42.5 career sacks since joining the league in 2017. That's the fifth-most sacks in the NFL during that span. When you consider that he's missed 13 of a possible 64 regular-season games to start his career, it's not hard to imagine Garrett ranking even higher if health was on his side.

Considering how Garrett is just 25 years old, there's a good possibility that he'll be even better when he hits the gridiron next season. Cleveland has built a great defense around him, which should only help him excel going forward. If that's the case, PFF might have to reconsider their edge rusher rankings sooner than later.

The Browns currently have the 7th-best odds to win Super Bowl 56 at +1600, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
