As we get closer to the midpoint of the MLB season, the landscape of betting favorites to win the 2019 World Series continues to change, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
After being dethroned atop the odds by the Los Angeles Dodgers last week, the Houston Astros are once again the favorites to win it all this October at +300 odds. The Astros have been one of the most dangerous teams in the league, and Houston could also be looking at an easier schedule down the stretch.

The Atlanta Braves saw their odds skyrocket after the signing of Dallas Keuchel, but they've since regressed to +1400 this week, despite Atlanta winning nine of its last 10 games. One team on the rise is the St. Louis Cardinals, who saw the second-biggest jump in the newest odds, improving from +5000 on June 6 to +3800 as of June 17.

The Boston Red Sox saw their odds to win the World Series plummet from +1300 to +2100 in early June, but they've now improved slightly to +2000. The defending World Series champions haven't gotten off to the start most were expecting, but they certainly have the talent to bounce back down the stretch.
