Mike McCarthy Shares Great News on Michael Gallup Injury Update

The Dallas Cowboys have rolled to a 6-1 record while playing the majority of this season without their No. 3 wide receiver in Michael Gallup.
On Friday, head coach Mike McCarthy revealed some positive news surrounding Gallup's latest injury update ahead of Week 9's matchup with the Denver Broncos.

Michael Gallup Injury Update
McCarthy noted that his No. 3 wide receiver is "looking good" in weekly practices. He didn't offer a definitive answer around Gallup's chances to play on Sunday, but this is the most optimistic update Dallas has offered in a while.
Gallup played just one game this season prior to his calf injury in Week 1. He was very much an important part of the offense as he caught 4-of-7 targets for 36 yards and playing in 60% of the offensive snaps.
The fourth-year pro was equally impressive in 2020. He was one of three Cowboys receivers with 100+ targets (CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper) and hauled in 59 receptions for 843 yards and 5 TDs.
