Mickey Loomis Roasts Sean Payton for Pre-Draft Input

The New Orleans Saints' prep for the 2022 NFL Draft was a bit different this year after longtime head coach Sean Payton retired in January. Payton played an integral role in the Saints' war room for the last 15 seasons, but it's now new HC Dennis Allen who's stepped in to help GM Mickey Loomis.
Loomis joked about how things have changed without Payton around by roasting the Super Bowl-winning head coach.

Adds he's joking. Says things have been pretty similar.
Loomis jokingly told reporters Wednesday that the pre-draft process is "quieter" with Payton no longer around. He then added things are similar with Allen, who's also not afraid to voice his opinions.

It's hilarious to see Loomis joke around at his old friend's expense, and it just shows how close the two have become during their partnership in New Orleans.
Hopefully Allen and Loomis are able to usher in a new era by nailing the team's picks in this year's draft. After securing a second selection in the first round, it's clear this team will be up to something on Thursday when the draft kicks off.
