Michigan State Beats Out Michigan to Land Four-Star DT

Michigan State is coming off a 49-7 clobbering at the hands of Iowa last weekend, but even that hasn't stopped Spartans fans from riding high after defeating the Michigan Wolverines, 27-24, in the previous contest.
And now on Monday, Michigan State has dealt another blow to their in-state rivals, signing four-star defensive tackle recruit Rayshaun Benny.

Playing both offensive and defensive line, the 6-foot-5 lineman from Oak Park, Michigan had offers from 35 schools.
On Rivals.com, Benny was originally unanimously forecasted to sign in Ann Arbor, making this commitment that much sweeter for fans in East Lansing.
The Spartans' next game will be at home on Saturday, though FanDuel Sportsbook has them as 7.5-point underdogs against Indiana.
